Boise Code Camp and TechFest 2009 – March 28th

If you weren’t at Boise Code Camp last year, you missed out. Over 400 developers showed up from across the western US, making it the largest Code Camp ever in the Pacific Northwest.

The organizers in Boise do a great job organizing this camp. This year are taking it a step further with TechFest, which is focused on the rest of the IT community, such as systems administration, networking, virtualization, and IT-related business issues. Both events are running concurrently at Boise State University, host for Boise Code Camp for the third time.

Portland Code Camp v4.0 – May 30/31

I am happy to announce that Code Camp is finally returning to Portland! Thanks to the folks at Lewis & Clark College, who will be hosting the camp in JR Howard Hall.

We’re having a planning kickoff meeting on Tuesday, February 10th at 7pm @ Macadam Bar & Grill. If you’d like to chip in to help make Portland Code Camp happen, stop on by.

Code Camps are by and for the local developer community – in other words, these events are what YOU make of them. If you enjoy the learning and networking opportunities that Code Camps provide, I encourage you to get involved and help support the one nearest you.
