There is so much developer goodness going on in Portland this month, a new word had to be coined to describe it. In chronological order:

May 10: PADNUG Bonus Meeting

May 11/12: BarCamp Portland

  • The first BarCamp in Portland (not counting RecentChangesCamp of course :)
  • Free – just add your name to the wiki to register.
  • Friday evening and all day Saturday

May 15: PDXUX Meeting

  • The first meeting of the new Portland User Experience Forum
  • Free - just show up
  • at PSU from 6pm to 9pm
  • Covering MIX07 content, such as Silverlight

May 17-20: RailsConf 2007

  • Sold out
  • I'll be there the first couple of days (mostly streaking, maybe a BoF session or two)

May 19/20: Portland Code Camp v3.0

May 23: OnRamp 240: Exploring New Web Technologies

  • Free - register here
  • Half-day instructor-led seminar (by yours truly :) covering the latest Web development technologies from Microsoft. Includes Silverlight, XAML, ASP.NET 2.0, ASP.NET AJAX, the Expression suite, and Visual Studio 2005.
  • Attendees will receive a free copy of Expression Web and free ASP.NET 3.0 hosting for 6 months.
